Dear Kindred Spirits,

Are you looking for a winter comfort read? Whether you have read Anne of Green Gables before or not, I invite you to join me on this read-along with our “bosom friend" Anne Shirley. I have read this book several times, and look forward to the enduring lessons of a young, imaginative girl with relentless hope for herself and the world. At a time when things are feeling increasingly dark and desperate, turning to our kindred spirits and celebrating the power of friendship feels like the only way forward.

Let’s rekindle our love for this beautiful world through the eyes of Anne Shirley.

Join the Kindred Spirits Bookclub! In 2025 we will be reading all eight of the Anne of Green Gables books.

It only makes sense that we begin this book club with it’s namesake, Anne of Green Gables, the original “kindred spirit”. Throughout 2025, I will be hosting a read-along of all of the Anne of Green Gables books. In February we will kick-off with the first of the series, and throughout the year we will read all eight.

If you are interested in participating, subscribe to the Kindred Spirits bookclub and you will receive a weekly newsletter, access to our reading schedule, and more!

This is my first time hosting a read-along and I am very happy to receive your feedback. I am going to kick-off February with a set schedule and process because the only way I know how to start this, is to just begin! But for the rest of the series, the format may change based on your feedback, so please be open to an evolving process and format.
